These swamp people, known as Cajuns, are well known for their tasteful cuisine, dicerse music, and eccentric culture. This high risk career chosen by these Swamp People composes most of their livelihood and despite its 300 year roots in the Cajun culture still poses high stakes risks to the Swamp People during their alligator hunts. So delve deep into the Atchafalaya Swamp of New Orleans Louisiana and catch a ride with these swamp people as they risk their lives going alligator hunting.
Season One of Swamp People of the History Channel was an overnight success for not only the History Channel but for the swamp people themselves, so it was no surprise when they signed up the swamp people for season two. As fans of Swamp People on the History Channel we were excited to see these heroes of our time sign on for another season. Although some of the Swamp People in the new season have changed the overarching concept has remained the same…Go alligator hunting and shoot dem gators. With these new faces of Swamp People making their debut we hope for more edge of your seat alligator hunting action that we have come to love from the Swamp People on the History Channel. I along with so many others would love to see Swamp People have a long standing run much like the Deadliest Catch Series on Discovery. So put in your vote for a never ending season for these swamp people. We sure need to help out our fellow Americans down in the Atchafalaya Swamp in Louisiana because of the tragedy and turmoil that has occurred in this region as of late. These Swamp People have overcome hard times and have prevailed in not only the face of danger but in the face of unforeseen environmental travesties.
